Established in 1978, Melville & Whitson Plumbing and Heating Engineers is a family owned and run company with a well-deserved reputation for quality, performance and competitive rates.
We provide installation and maintenance services for domestic customers, landlords and businesses across the whole of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We’ve installed plumbing and heating systems and bathrooms in a variety of domestic settings as well as in retail outlets, schools and medical centres; hotels, bars and restaurants; research facilities and exhibition centres; churches and listed historic buildings. To every project we bring a personal, open and honest service, working to the highest technical standards at all times.
With a permanent team of fully qualified plumbing and heating engineers, as well as contract managers, site managers and administrative staff, we can confidently say that no job is too large or, indeed, too small. We offer full call centre administration and office support with advanced IT systems which include real-time engineer diary and planning technology as well as direct links to major suppliers and databases. We also carry a large stock of parts to minimise the need for return visits, allowing us to get the job done then and there.
